The Jazzkollektiv Babelsberg is a five-member jazz band from Potsdam and performs with piano, double bass, drums, saxophones and trumpet/flugelhorn. Songs from the HardBop era of jazz by Lee Morgan, Horace Silver, Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers and original compositions are on the program. The quintet makes regular guest appearances in the region and, in addition to performances in Teltow, has already played at the Urania in Potsdam, the Kleines Haus of the Hans Ottos Theater in Potsdam, the Turmfest in Luckenwalde and the Kulturhaus Babelsberg. They play the finest jazz, often improvised. Come by and enjoy Sunday at noon in the Kammerspiele Kleinmachnow.
